Android Automotive Embedded Engineer

We’re seeking an Android Automotive Embedded Engineer with expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS), AOSP, and embedded Linux to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automotive infotainment systems and in-vehicle technology. You’ll be instrumental in developing next-generation automotive software, working on custom AOSP builds, HAL development, and system optimizations

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate Android-based infotainment and digital cluster systems.
Customize AOSP, HAL, and BSP to enhance automotive software functionality.
Implement and optimize CAN, LIN, UDS, and vehicle communication protocols.
Work on low-level system optimizations, bootloader customization, and hardware bring-up.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, security, and user experience.
Ensure compliance with automotive safety and cybersecurity standards.
Debug and resolve system crashes, memory issues, and performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Android Automotive, AOSP, and embedded Linux development.
Strong programming skills in C, C++, Java/Kotlin, and experience with Linux-based embedded systems.
Deep understanding of HAL, BSP, and low-level driver development.
Familiarity with Yocto, U-Boot, and real-time OS concepts.
Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS) and diagnostic frameworks.
Experience with automotive cybersecurity and functional safety is a plus.
Hands-on experience with cloud connectivity and over-the-air (OTA) updates is a plus.
